Acclaimed solists, Apostolos Palios, former teacher at the Department of Music Studies of the Greek Academy of Sciences, on the piano, and Katerina Hatzinikolaou, outstanding musician of the State Orchestra of Athens, on the violin, join forces to present emblematic sonatas for violin and piano by three great French-speaking composers, Francis Poulenc , Camille Saint Saens and Cesar Franck, while the program also includes Sicilliene by the also French composer Faure. Masterpieces, most of which are rarely presented to the Greek public.
