Elati is a very picturesque village, of Trikala county, 32 kms from the city of Trikala, built amphitheatrically in the midst of a forest, at an altitude of 920 meters on the Southern-most part of Pindos mountain range.

Hotels, Pensions and Apartments, most of them in the traditional Pindos architecture and rustic style accommodate quests at reasonable prices while the local restaurants offer the famous grilled wild boar and the oven-cooked pork called “kotsi”, local wine, sausages, cheeses and sweets made out of local fruits.

Pertouli Ski-Resort is just 10 kms from Elati, at an altitude of 1170m and consists of three slopes and three lifts. A red track of 1,500m long, a blue track of 400m long and a green track of 80m long. You can reach the top of each track with a 1,170m long two-seater aerial lift, a 350m long sliding lift and a 60m long bunny lift.

There are two chalets, one at the foot and the other on the top of the tracks, while night skiing events are held during the ski season. There is a large and easily accessed parking space at the foot of the ski resort and access is usually done without use of anti-skid chains.
