The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation joins forces with major European museums<\/strong> and presents, for the first time in Greece<\/strong>, a comprehensive tribute to the Neo-Impressionism<\/strong> art movement <\/strong>focusing on the Mediterranean region, that will run from January 10 until April 7, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The exhibition \u201cNeo-Impressionism in the Colours of the Mediterranean<\/em><\/strong>\u201d<\/em> (1891-1914) takes place in collaboration with important European museums and organisations including the Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Orsay<\/strong>, the National Gallery in London<\/strong>, Centre Pompidou<\/strong>, the Mus\u00e9e des Beaux-Arts de Besan\u00e7on<\/strong>, the Mus\u00e9e de l\u2019Annonciade<\/strong>, the Mus\u00e9e de Grenoble<\/strong>, the Mus\u00e9e national d\u2019arch\u00e9ologie, d\u2019histoire et d\u2019art \u2013 Luxembourg<\/strong> and the Mus\u00e9e des Arts D\u00e9coratifs<\/strong> as well as European private collectors. The exhibition will feature works by Paul Signac<\/strong>, Henri-Edmond Cross<\/strong>, Maximilien Luce<\/strong>, Th\u00e9o van Rysselberghe<\/strong>, Henri Matisse<\/strong>, Henri Manguin<\/strong> and Louis Valtat<\/strong>, most of which will go on display for the first time in Greece.<\/p>\n Marina Ferretti<\/strong> Bocquillon<\/strong>, Scientific Director Emerita at the Giverny Museum of Impressionisms (mus\u00e9e des impressionnismes Giverny) and Marie Koutsomallis-Moreau<\/strong>, Head of Collections at the Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation, are the exhibition\u2019s curators.<\/p>\n
